Veggie Vengeance

Veggie Vengeancee is 2D Fighting game with Veggies as fighters!? The game has 2 modes: VS AI mode and local multiplayer. Pick your veggies and duke it out to see which veggie packs the most punches!

It is a group project from UBC's CPSC 436D in 2019, and it placed runners-up in the courses final showcase (judged by industry professionals from EA, SkyBox Labs etc.)

Moves and Abilities

Implemented movements for all fighters, including crouching, normal attacks and charging strong attacks!

Implemented unique moves and abilities for each fighter in C++. Here are some cool exmaples:

  • Potato - Fry Bullets (straight projectile), Tater Tots Bomb (like Snake's C4 in Smash)
  • Brock Lee (Broccoli) - Uppercut, Bouncy Cauliflower (Bouncy projectile), Double Jump
  • Eggplant - Circling Emoji (shootable projectile that forms a shield around the eggplant)
  • Yam - Self-Healing, Dash
